Danville Lions Club Free Vision Screening Services
The Danville Lions Club provides free, five-second vision screenings for schools and community centers in Danville and San Ramon. Using advanced digital cameras, we can quickly and safely detect common eye conditions. To schedule a complimentary screening for your facility, contact Dr. Brent Waterman at 925-352-6111.
Their Mission is to preserve vision, foster independence and enhance the quality of life for adults who are blind or at risk for vision impairments and to serve as a trusted source of information and expertise on blindness in the community.
Experience a fun-filled camp for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and CODA children ages 7 to 15, sponsored by the California Lions Clubs.

Kids For Hunger
Danville Restaurant Walk: Great food, vibrant downtown energy, and a community that shows up for each other. As a volunteer for our signature Restaurant Walk, you are the face of the evening—greeting neighbors, checking tickets, and keeping the fun rolling as participants stroll from one delicious tasting to the next. It is an easy, social shift with built-in community cheer, and every dollar raised fuels local Lions service projects throughout the year.

Kids for Hunger Meal Packaging: A couple of hours, a pair of hairnets, and an assembly line that never stops smiling. We team up to pack nutritious, shelf-stable meals that go straight to kids and families who need them most. It is fast, high-energy, and genuinely fun—you will walk out knowing your hands directly helped feed hundreds of people. Bring a friend or bring the whole family; all ages and skill levels are welcome.

Eyeglass Sorting
Danville Restaurant Walk
Eyeglass Sorting: A simple pair of used glasses can change someone’s entire world—helping a student learn to read or an adult return to work. At our sorting nights, we gather around tables to clean, categorize, and prep donated glasses for people across the globe who lack access to basic eye care. It is relaxed, social, and deeply rewarding work where you see the stack of transformed lives grow right in front of you.
